Jesus is the center

Jesus is central to everything we do. We sing, pray, and teach in His powerful name. Our past, present, and future are centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ.

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

Colossians 1:16-17

Called to intervene

James 1:27 says, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

We are called to do our part and to actively pursue the needs of these children.

We are blessed to be a blessing!

What will your support do?

Your support is crucial.  We need your support to ensure that these children will be fed, clothed and educated as well as taught about Jesus is and the importance of having a personal relationship with him.  Let us introduce you to a few of our overcoming children below.

  • Priscillia

Priscillia's mother was a member of the church.  Her father was an alcoholic that she did not know.  When her mother died, Priscillia and her 8 siblings were brought to the funeral.  Those in attendance were asked to take the children to care for them.  All of the children were picked except for Priscillia.  She was an infant at the time and nobody wanted to care for an infant.  Alice took her and she has been with Alice ever since.

  • Katherine

Katherine's mother was sick for many years which meant that all three of the children were at home taking care of her.  The father was an alcoholic who was nonexistent in their lives.  After the mother ended up dying, Katherine was left alone day and night at the age of 4.  She is now a student at Overcoming Faith Academy.

  • Mesh

Mesh was dumped as a brand new baby.  He has never met his biological parents.  When Alice found him she immediately took him to the hospital to be checked out.  Alice then placed him in the care of one of the ladies within the church that was currently nursing her children so that Mesh could continue to be fed and nourished.  After Mesh was weaned Alice took him to her house and he has been with her ever since.  Mesh is a very bright young man that will be starting at the university this fall.  He received a scholarship for being in the top 10% of all who tested to enter the university.
